Human Activity in China and India Dominates the Greening of Earth, NASA Study Shows

A new study using data from NASA satellites reports a counterintuitive finding that China and India – the two emerging countries with the world’s biggest populations – are leading the increase in greening on land through planting of trees and intensive crop cultivation.
